Storytelling. That's what Rachel has always loved. At a very young age, she noticed that most people, no matter their race, gender, religion, or socioeconomic status, watched the stories being told on the TV. She decided she wanted to be a part of those stories and storytelling.
So Rachel started her training by receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. Throughout college, Rachel learned the art of storytelling for the purpose of Broadcast Journalism, TV and Film. She was able to work at CNN for a summer, and her freelance experience earned her a spot as a nightly news anchor for WTOK, an ABC affiliate in Meridian, Mississippi for 1 ½ years.
That's when she moved to Hollywood. Rachel has earned herself the primary lead role of 'Becky Rooks' in Officer Down, and she is attached to three more full-length feature films. She has the primary female lead in Unlimited, with lead Taylor Negron as Dan, the father, the primary female lead role in Ask Me No Questions, and a primary female lead role in ONE. She also just wrapped a feature titled, Cleaver Family Reunion, which has theatrical release. She starred in Bikini Spring Break, in which she played the lead female along side Robert Carradine from, Revenge of the Nerds. One might say Rachel has come full circle in her transformation from the young storyteller, to the ABC news anchor, and to that of a leading actress.
